Does Figma Export WebP?

Figma is a modern, intuitive, cloud-based design tool for teams. It provides a platform for collaborative design and simplifies the design process.

Figma allows users to create and collaborate on designs with its user-friendly interface. It makes it easy to share and export designs for web or mobile. Figma also offers a range of features such as version control, live collaboration, and real-time feedback.

Figma’s export feature is one of its most popular features as it allows designers to quickly export designs into various formats with ease. The export feature supports popular image formats like JPG, PNG, SVG, and PDF but does not support WebP format.

WebP is a new image format developed by Google that offers superior image quality than other traditional formats like JPEG or PNG while compressing files smaller in size. WebP images offer better performance on websites due to their smaller file size which helps reduce page load times.

So does Figma support WebP?

Unfortunately, Figma does not currently support exporting designs in WebP format. This may be due to the fact that the format is relatively new and still not widely supported by browsers. However, some other popular design tools such as Adobe Photoshop do support exporting in WebP format.

Conclusion:

Figma does not currently support exporting designs in the WebP format. Although this may be due to the fact that the format is relatively new and not widely supported by browsers yet, other popular design tools such as Adobe Photoshop do offer this feature.
