Will There Be a Kasumi Figma?

The beloved Kasumi from the Dead or Alive series has been a fan favorite since her debut in 1996, and with the recent release of her DLC appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, fans around the world have been clamoring for a Figma of her. Figmas are highly detailed figures of popular characters from manga, anime, and video games, and a Figma of Kasumi could be the perfect way to show off your love for one of gaming’s most iconic heroines.

Kasumi is no stranger to figures; she has had several action figures in the past. These figures were mostly based on her original design from Dead or Alive and were sold through various retailers such as Toys R Us and Hot Topic.

However, none of these have been as intricate or detailed as a Figma would be. A Figma would give fans the opportunity to display Kasumi in all her glory, with her signature hairstyle, weapons, and clothing all perfectly replicated with pinpoint accuracy.

The fact that there is no official Figma of Kasumi yet may not be for lack of trying. The company that produces Figmas – Good Smile Company – is well aware of Kasumi’s popularity and has even released two Nendoroid figures based on her design from Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Unfortunately, Nendoroids are much less detailed than Figmas, so it would make sense for Good Smile Company to release a more faithful replica of Kasumi in the form of a Figma.

So will there be a Kasumi Figma?

At this point it’s hard to say if we will ever see an official Kasumi Figma released by Good Smile Company. While it seems likely that they would want to capitalize on the character’s popularity by producing an accurate figure, there is no guarantee that they will follow through on this idea. Fans can only hope that Good Smile Company will take notice and finally give us the high-quality figure we’ve all been waiting for.

Conclusion:

Whether or not we will see an official Kasumi Figma remains to be seen; however, fans can take comfort in knowing that Good Smile Company is aware of her popularity and may very well produce one in the near future.
