Step 2: Configuring DNS Settings
Now that you’re on the domain settings page, look for the “DNS” tab and click on it. Here, you’ll find various DNS record settings that you can modify.
Note: Before making any changes, make sure to take a backup of your existing DNS settings (if any) so that you can revert back if needed.
Step 2.1: Adding a CNAME Record
In order to connect your Google domain with Webflow, we need to add a CNAME record. Look for an option labeled “Custom resource records” or “Add/Edit custom resource records”. Click on it.
You’ll now see a form where you can add custom resource records. In the “Name” field, enter www.
In the “Type” field, select CNAME. And in the “Data” field, enter proxy.webflow.com. Make sure to save this record once done.
