One important aspect of managing a website is keeping track of the traffic it receives. In this tutorial, we will explore how you can check the traffic on your Webflow site.
Google Analytics
If you want to get detailed insights about your website’s traffic, Google Analytics is a fantastic tool to use. Follow these steps to set up Google Analytics on your Webflow site:
- Sign up for Google Analytics: Visit the Google Analytics website and sign up for an account if you don’t have one already.
- Create a new property: Once you’re signed in, create a new property for your website by clicking on the “Admin” tab and then selecting “Create Property”. Fill in the necessary details such as the website name and URL.
- Get your tracking ID: After creating the property, you’ll be provided with a tracking ID. It looks like UA-XXXXXXXXX-X. Copy this tracking ID as we’ll need it in the next step.
- Add the tracking code to Webflow: In your Webflow project, go to Project Settings and select the Custom Code tab.
