Are you looking to integrate your Webflow website with Shopify? Good news!
It’s a straightforward process that can be done in a few simple steps. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of linking Webflow to Shopify, allowing you to seamlessly manage your products and orders. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Create a Shopify Account
If you don’t have a Shopify account yet, head over to Shopify.com and sign up for an account. Choose a plan that suits your needs and follow the registration process. Once you have your Shopify account set up, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
Step 2: Generate API Credentials
To link Webflow with Shopify, we need to generate API credentials from your Shopify admin panel. Log in to your Shopify account and navigate to “Settings” > “API keys”.
Here, click on “Generate API credentials”. You will be asked for certain permissions; make sure to grant access for the actions you plan on performing (e.g., read/write products). After confirming, your API credentials will be generated.
Note:
Make sure to copy both the “API key” and “Password” as they will be required in the next step.
Step 3: Connect Webflow with Shopify
In your Webflow project editor, go to the settings panel on the right-hand side. Scroll down until you find the “Ecommerce” section. Here, select “Shopify” as your ecommerce provider.
-
Enter Your Store’s URL:
Enter your Shopify store’s URL (e., mystore.myShopify.com) in the designated field.
-
Enter Your API Key:
Paste the API key you generated in Step 2 into the “API Key” field.
-
Enter Your Password:
Paste the password you obtained from Step 2 into the “Password” field.
Note:
Make sure to save your changes before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: Sync Products and Collections
Once you have connected Webflow to Shopify, it’s time to sync your products and collections. In Webflow, navigate to the “Ecommerce” panel and click on “Sync Now”. This will fetch all your products and collections from Shopify and make them available within Webflow.
Step 5: Design Your Ecommerce Pages
In Webflow, you have complete control over the design of your ecommerce pages. Customize the layout, typography, colors, and other elements to match your brand. You can also add dynamic elements like product lists, filters, and search functionality to enhance the user experience.
Note:
If you make any changes to your products or collections in Shopify, make sure to click on “Sync Now” in Webflow again to keep everything up-to-date.
Step 6: Publish Your Website
You’re almost there! Once you are satisfied with your ecommerce pages, it’s time to publish your website.
In Webflow, click on the “Publish” button to make your changes live. Your Webflow website is now linked to Shopify, and all your products and collections will be managed through Shopify’s admin panel.
That’s it! You have successfully linked your Webflow website to Shopify, enabling you to sell products and manage orders seamlessly.
Congratulations on completing this integration! Now you can focus on growing your online business with the powerful combination of Webflow and Shopify.
Remember, if you ever need to make changes or update your products, simply log in to your Shopify account and manage everything from there. Happy selling!
