How Do I Make a Bookshelf in SketchUp?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a bookshelf in SketchUp. SketchUp is a powerful 3D modeling software that allows you to create and design various objects, including furniture pieces like bookshelves.

Step 1: Creating the Shelf

Let’s start by creating the basic structure of our bookshelf. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open SketchUp: Launch SketchUp on your computer and create a new project.
  2. Select the Rectangle Tool: In the toolbar on the left side of the screen, click on the Rectangle Tool icon.
