How Do I Change the Background Color of a Frame in Figma?

Changing the background color of a Frame in Figma is an easy and straightforward process. In order to do this, you first need to select the Frame you want to edit. Then, either right-click or use the menu at the top of the app to access the “Format” option.

Once you have accessed this menu, you will be able to see a variety of options available. The one we are interested in is located at the “Background” section.

Here, you will be able to select from several different options and colors for your Frame’s background. Simply pick your favorite color option and it will be applied immediately.

Sometimes, however, you may want more control over how your Frame looks and what colors it uses for its background. Fortunately, Figma provides advanced tools that let users customize their Frames even further.

To do this, simply select the “Advanced” option from within the “Format” menu and then click on “Background Color”. Here, you can choose from a wide range of custom colors for your Frame or even create a custom color using RGB (Red Green Blue) values.

Another great thing about using Figma is that it allows users to save their custom settings as presets so they can quickly apply them whenever they need them without having to manually adjust any settings each time they want to change something in their design. To save your settings as a preset, simply click on “Save As Preset” in the “Advanced” tab of the “Format” menu.
