How Do I Get Font Awesome on Webflow?

Font Awesome is a popular icon library that allows you to easily add stylish and customizable icons to your website. If you are using Webflow, integrating Font Awesome into your project is a breeze. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to get Font Awesome up and running on your Webflow site.

To begin, make sure you are logged in to your Webflow account and have created a new project or opened an existing one. Once you are ready, follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign Up for Font Awesome
To start using Font Awesome on your Webflow site, you’ll need to sign up for a Font Awesome account. Head over to the Font Awesome website and click on the “Get Started” button.

Fill in the required details and select a plan that suits your needs. If you’re just getting started or working on a small project, the free plan should be sufficient.

Step 2: Get Your Kit Code
After signing up, you will be redirected to your account dashboard. Here, click on the “Kits” tab located in the left-hand menu. Next, click on the “New Kit” button to create a new kit for your Webflow project.

Give your kit a name (e.g., “Webflow Project”) and specify the domain where you will be using it (e., www.your-domain.com). If you are working locally or haven’t set up a custom domain yet, you can leave this field blank for now.

Once you’ve filled in the necessary details, click on the “Save Changes” button. You will then see your newly created kit listed under the “Kits” tab.

Click on your kit’s name to open its settings page. Here, you will find your unique kit code under the heading “JavaScript/React.” Copy this code as we will use it in the next step.

Step 3: Add Font Awesome to Webflow
Now that you have your kit code, head back to your Webflow project. Open the project settings by clicking on the gear icon located in the left-hand menu.

In the project settings, navigate to the “Custom Code” tab. Here, you will find various code fields where you can add custom code to your site.

Scroll down to the “Head Code” section and paste the kit code you copied from Font Awesome. Make sure to enclose the code within
