How Do You Create a Floor in SketchUp?

SketchUp is a powerful 3D modeling software that allows you to create detailed and realistic models of objects, buildings, and even entire landscapes. If you’re new to SketchUp and wondering how to create a floor for your project, this tutorial will guide you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Open SketchUp

Before we begin creating a floor, make sure you have SketchUp installed on your computer. Once it’s installed, open the software by double-clicking on the SketchUp icon.

Step 2: Set Up the Workspace

When SketchUp opens, you’ll see a default workspace with various tools and panels. To create a floor, we need to set up our workspace properly.

To access the necessary tools:
