How Do You Make a Midpoint Snap in AutoCAD?

Step 3: Activate Midpoint Snap

    • Type “OSNAP” in the command line and press Enter.

Step 4: Snap to the Midpoint

Move your cursor close to one of the endpoints of the line. As you move closer, AutoCAD will display a small square indicating that it has detected the endpoint snap. Now, move your cursor towards the middle of the line.

You will notice that as you approach the midpoint, AutoCAD will display a small triangle indicating that it has detected the midpoint snap. Click to specify the endpoint and then click again to specify the midpoint. Voila! You have successfully made a midpoint snap in AutoCAD!
