In this tutorial, we will learn how to whitelabel in Webflow. Whitelabeling allows you to remove Webflow branding and customize the platform to match your own brand identity.
Step 1: Accessing the Project Settings
To start whitelabeling your Webflow project, you need to access the project settings. To do this, click on the Settings icon located in the left sidebar of the Webflow Designer.
Step 2: Branding
Under the Branding tab, you can customize various elements of your project’s branding:
Favicon
The favicon is a small icon that appears in the browser tab when your website is open. To upload a custom favicon, click on Upload Image, select your desired image file, and then click Save Changes.
Login Screen Logo
The login screen logo is displayed when users access your Webflow project’s editor or CMS. To add a custom logo, click on Add Login Screen Logo, upload your logo image file, and click Save Changes.
Email Notifications Logo
You can also customize the logo used in email notifications sent from your Webflow project. Click on Add Email Notifications Logo, upload your logo image file, and click Save Changes.
Social Sharing Image (OG Image)
The social sharing image is displayed when someone shares a link to your website on social media platforms. To set a custom image for social sharing, click on Add Social Sharing Image (OG Image), upload your desired image file, and click Save Changes.
Step 3: Custom Code
Under the Custom Code tab, you can add your own custom code to further customize your Webflow project:
Head Code
The head code section allows you to add custom HTML or CSS code that will be inserted into the head section of your website’s HTML. This can be useful for adding tracking scripts or additional stylesheets.
Body Code
The body code section allows you to add custom HTML or JavaScript code that will be inserted into the body section of your website’s HTML. This can be useful for adding analytics scripts or interactive elements.
Step 4: Domain Settings
If you have a custom domain for your Webflow project, you can further customize it under the Domain Settings tab:
CNAME Record
To connect a subdomain or root domain to your Webflow project, you need to set up a CNAME record with your domain registrar. Follow the instructions provided in this section to complete the setup.
SSL Certificate
You can also enable SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for secure communication between your website and its visitors. Click on Add SSL Certificate, follow the instructions provided, and click Publish Changes.
Step 5: Publish Your Changes
Once you have finished customizing your whitelabel settings in Webflow, click on Publish Changes. Your changes will now be live on your website without any Webflow branding.
- Note: Whitelabeling is only available on paid Webflow plans.
- Tip: Make sure to preview your changes before publishing to ensure they appear as intended.
Congratulations! You have successfully whitelabeled your Webflow project. Enjoy the freedom of customizing the platform to match your own brand identity.
