How to Change Point Style in AutoCAD?

AutoCAD is a powerful software used for creating and editing 2D and 3D designs. One of the key features of AutoCAD is the ability to customize the point style.

Point style refers to the appearance of points in your drawing, which can be important for visual clarity and aesthetics. In this tutorial, we will explore how to change point style in AutoCAD.

Accessing the Point Style Manager

To change the point style in AutoCAD, you need to access the Point Style Manager. There are two ways to do this:

  • Method 1:
    • Click on the Home tab in the ribbon.
    • In the Utilities panel, click on the Point Style button.
  • Method 2:
    • Type “Ptstyle” in the command line and press Enter.

Changing Point Style

Once you have accessed the Point Style Manager, you can proceed with changing the point style. Follow these steps:

  1. Select an existing point style from the list or click on “New..” to create a new point style.
  2. In the “Point Style” dialog box, you can customize various aspects of the point style:
