Where Is the Properties Panel in Figma?

Figma is an increasingly popular browser-based design tool that is quickly becoming a favorite of many UI/UX designers. It has a wide range of features and tools, enabling users to create and collaborate on design projects.

One of its features is the Properties Panel. This panel allows users to adjust the properties of any selected element in their designs, such as size, shape, color, and more.

The Properties Panel can be found in the left-hand sidebar of the Figma interface. It consists of several sections that each contain different types of properties.

The first section contains information about an object’s size, position, and other basic attributes. The second section contains style options for things like color swatches, text effects, borders, shadows, and gradients. The third section contains advanced options for things like transitions and animation.

In addition to the Properties Panel itself, Figma also offers a variety of tools that can be used alongside it to further customize elements in your design projects. For example, you can use the Color Picker tool to select specific colors from existing elements in your project or from a global color palette. You can also use the Text Editor tool to adjust font typefaces, line height, spacing between characters or words.
