Downloading videos from Canva can be a tricky process, especially for those unfamiliar with the platform. Canva is an online graphic design platform, allowing users to create professional-looking graphics and videos using a range of templates and tools. While it is easy to create or edit a video on Canva, downloading the completed video isn’t as straightforward.
Canva allows users to download completed projects in various file formats, but video downloads are not supported at this time. This means that users cannot download their video directly from the Canva platform, as they can with other types of design projects. Instead, users must export their video to an external streaming service such as YouTube or Vimeo in order to make it available for viewing and downloading.
Exporting the video requires an upgraded version of Canva Pro or Canva for Enterprise. Both versions feature the ability to export videos in a variety of formats including MP4 and GIF. The exported video will contain branding associated with the user’s account, which can be removed if desired.
Once exported, the user will have access to a link which they can share with others or post online in order for others to view or download their work. Additionally, they can also download their own copy of the video by clicking on ‘Download’ from within their streaming service account.
Canva does not currently support direct downloads of videos created on its platform, meaning that users must first export their video to an external streaming service before making it available for viewing and downloading. With either a Pro or Enterprise account however, users will be able to easily export and share their work with others via streaming services.
Why Can’t I Download a Video From Canva?
The answer is simple – because direct downloads of videos created on the Canva platform are not currently supported. Instead, users must first export their project to an external streaming service such as YouTube or Vimeo before making it available for viewing and downloading.
