How Do I Save My Prototype in Figma?

As a user of the popular design application Figma, you may have been wondering how to save your prototype. You can easily do this with a few simple steps.

First, open the project you want to save and click on ‘Prototype’ in the upper left corner. This will open up the ‘Prototype’ window.

Here, you can make changes to your prototype, such as adding transitions and interactions between frames. Once you have finished setting up your prototype, click on ‘Save’ in the top right corner.

Next, select where you want to save your prototype from the options available. You can choose to save it as a .fig file (which is the default setting) or as an image file (.png or .jpg). You can also choose to export it as HTML or SVG format if desired.

Once you have chosen where and how you want to save your prototype, click ‘Save’ again in the bottom right corner. Your prototype is now saved and ready for use! You can also access your saved prototypes from within Figma’s browser, which is located in the top left corner under ‘Projects’.

Saving a prototype in Figma is easy and straightforward. All it takes is a few clicks from within the ‘Prototype’ window before selecting where and how you want to save it. With this knowledge, users of Figma should be able to quickly and easily save their prototypes for future use.
