How Do You Get a Color Palette in Figma?

Figma is a powerful design tool that allows teams to collaborate on projects in real-time. It offers a wide range of tools and features to create stunning designs.

One of the most useful features of Figma is the ability to create a custom color palette. This feature can help streamline the design process and ensure you’re always using consistent colors across your projects.

Creating a color palette in Figma is easy. First, open up the Colors tab in the left-hand sidebar.

Here you will find all of your color swatches and some pre-set palettes from Figma. To create a new color palette, click on “Create New Palette” at the top right corner.

Once you’ve clicked on this option, you’ll be prompted to name your palette and enter in any hex codes for colors you want to include in it. After entering in this information, you can add as many colors as you like by clicking the plus (+) icon next to each field. Once you’re finished adding colors, click “Save Palette” at the bottom right corner.

Now that your new palette is saved, it will appear alongside all of your other palettes under the Colors tab. Anytime you need to use one of your custom colors, simply select it from this list or drag it onto your canvas.
